Positive Behavior Support:

At Tiffany Ridge, we teach students specific behaviors to use throughout the school.  When students demonstrate these behaviors, they are rewarded with PACK points.  Students trade these pack points in for rewards from a menu or list.

P- Problem solver
A- Actions are responsible
C- Caring for everyone
K- Keep safe

There are many ways to become involved volunteering at Tiffany Ridge.  Joining and getting involved with our PTA is the first step! In my classroom, I usually have a few parents that come make copies or help with cutting and laminating.  I can always use parents to read with kids or work with small group of students. You must have a district screening to work with students. Class parties and chaperoning field trips are also great ways to pitch in! Let me know if I can help you get involved.

I will send emails or notes about upcoming events in our classroom.  I will also post updates of classroom activities and learning topics on our classroom blog.  Please follow us on Twitter @TR_Scott_3.  I post a lot of pictures on Twitter, so it's a great way to see what we are doing daily in class, and get a peek of your child in action. We are trying to "Go Green" at Tiffany Ridge, so most school communication will be sent to you via email. If I do not have a current email address for you, please notify myself and the school office.  You will get a weekly email newsletter from the school office.  All upcoming school events are highlighted in this newsletter, so please watch for these each Friday. Also, please check your child's Take Home Folder each night. If you ever need to contact me, please feel free to call me at school and leave a voice message at 359-6108.  The best way to reach me is to e-mail me at

Birthdays are fun to celebrate at school!  If you wish to send birthday treats for the class, please make arrangements with me prior to the event.  I'm very flexible about this.  Just send me an email or a note.  Some students with summer birthdays like to celebrate their "half birthdays". Treats must be store bought and packaged.  Home baked treats are not allowed.  Drinks must be clear liquids.   Please DO NOT send birthday invitations to school to pass out unless the invitations are for the entire class.

Book Orders:

I will send home monthly book orders. This is a great way to build your child’s personal library at home at a reasonable cost.  Reading with your kids will, without a doubt, instill in them the joy of reading and help them become better readers!  Checks are to be made out to Scholastic Book Clubs, NOT to the school or myself. Please do not send cash.  Books usually arrive within a week after the order has been placed.

Lunch at School:

You are welcome to come have lunch at school with your child any
time.  Please plan to bring a sack lunch or call the office by 9:00 a.m. to order a school lunch.

Recess is held BEFORE lunch from 10:43-10:57. Our lunch time is 10:57-11:18

Adult lunch $3.40
Child Lunch $2.40

Weekly Reading:

We would like for third graders to read a minimum of 100 minutes a week outside of school.
