M&M Division

Miss Kuhl taught a fun math lesson today!  And it was yummy, too!  Students used M&Ms to show the sharing model in division.

Water Cycle

We made our own Water Cycles in baggies today. We will be making observations next week to see the stages  in the water cycle.

Division stations

In math, we have been learning strategies to help us divide. Yesterday we completed some division stations as a review.

Opinion Writing

This quarter we have been working on Opinion Writing. I was so lucky to have Creative Teaching Press send me these awesome writing organizers for my students to try out!  They have been a great writing tool for us. I love the way it gives them tips and takes them through each step of opinion writing. I can't wait to try them with narratives and informational writing. Thanks CTP! #creativeteachingpress

Wonderful Reading!

Phillip asked to read a book to the class today. We enjoyed listening to him read Lost Cat. He did a great job!

Valentine Party

Thanks to all the parents who helped with room parties and donations to the room parties this year!  A special thanks goes to Laura Richards and Collette Stevens for being our room parents.  I didn't get many pictures at this one! Sorry!

McTeacher Night

Thanks to all the families who came out to McDonald's on Thursday evening to help us raise money for playground equipment!  It was a lot of fun seeing everyone visiting, eating, playing, and having a good time!  I love our school family!  I'm proud to be a Tiffany Ridge Timberwolf!  (Thanks to Grace's grandma for taking this goofy picture of me with Grace!  We were trying to get Grace to give us a smile.  The look on her face says it all!)

Multiplication Party!

I'm so proud of these third graders!  They worked so hard (up to the minute before the party) to master their multiplication facts!  Thanks to all the parents who came to help and who do ated items to make it  a special celebration!
